Your Yucca Cane will do best in bright indirect light. If the Yucca is exposed to direct light, the leaves may burn. It can tolerate lower light areas but will grow much slower. The Yucca Cane is a drought-tolerant plant and does not require much water. Water your Yucca Cane only when the top 50% of the soil is dry—perhaps every 1-2 weeks, depending on your indoor climate. Let the water drain through the bottom, empty the saucer of any water, and then allow it to dry out again. A Yucca Cane that turns yellow means that it is getting too much water and its roots may be rotting.
